Andrew Schotz is a multi-talented, award winning producer, director and developer of television and online content. Andrew’s career launched in 2012 when he directed, produced, and edited the viral video, “Grandmas Watch the Kardashian Sex Tape” which has over 6 million total views and was nominated for Viral Video of the Year. The viral sensation caught the eyes of millions as well as Oprah Winfrey herself, which led to a TV series on her network called “The Golden Sisters”.
Since then, Andrew continues to produce and direct online content creating multi-viral videos and making Huffington Post’s “The Funniest Moments of 2014”, as well as running social media accounts for influencers with over 80k followers. Andrew also produced and directed nine national commercial spots. Simultaneous to his work in the digital arena, Schotz also produced several TV projects including CBS’s primetime hidden camera show, “I Get That A Lot”, MTV’s dating show “Time’s Up” and Travel Channel’s “America’s Secret Swimming Holes”.
In 2016, after his having success as a development director in the non-scripted space, Andrew joined Anvil 1893 Entertainment. In his role as Development Executive he will work to develop and create content for both traditional and digital platforms.
